You really don't understand how this works.oregonblitzkrieg said:UCLA beating Arizona makes Oregon's road win at UCLA look better. Arizona beating UCLA at the Rose Bowl makes Oregon's loss look better. Either way Oregon wins.
Arizona is loosing this game. The problem is you'll end up with at most one true quality win (MSU) and your loss is headed to the suck territory where we all knew it belonged. You needed UA to win out and beat then beat them in the championship game and pick up a quality win and maintain it as a quality loss.
Unless of course you're counting on UCLA to win out and become a decent win. In which case you haven't actually watched UCLA this year. -
Who says Utah will be? That's far from certain.TierbsHsotBoobs said:
Hi there. Utah will still be the South Division champion with two losses. Beating them again won't help.oregonblitzkrieg said:
Utah will likely be ranked. So will the South Division champion. That's enough food to propel the Oregon beast into the playoffs.TierbsHsotBoobs said:
UCLA beating Arizona means everyone in the South has two losses after next week (if Oregon wins). That's not good.oregonblitzkrieg said:UCLA beating Arizona makes Oregon's road win at UCLA look better. Arizona beating UCLA at the Rose Bowl makes Oregon's loss look better. Either way Oregon wins.

Good to see OBK showing off that quality Oregon education
When everybody in the conference ends up with 3 or 4 conference losses, that will scream that the conference is mediocre.
Anybody with a brain knows UCLA isn't good - the more they play the more they will prove it. -
If Utah finishes the season with two losses and Oregon is the second loss, Utah will win the South.oregonblitzkrieg said:

Fact remains. Win and get in. By default Oregon gets in over Notre Dame and Michigan St. The SEC will sort itself out. There are no other remaining contenders to lose sleep over at this point, as long as Oregon finishes its business.dnc said:

But in the SEC that screams that the conference is great. They are 'cannibalizing' each other, and they are all great teams. All of them.Tequilla said:Good to see OBK showing off that quality Oregon education

3-0 over the Pac-12 > 9-1 over the Pac-12.oregonblitzkrieg said:

Throw in FSU, SEC champ, and XII champ and where does Oregon go? -
Notre Dame doesn't play a conference championship. That means that Notre Dame is Door. Ass. Out. In this scenario. An Oregon with 1 loss and a conference championship will trump the second SEC team out.TierbsHsotBoobs said:

The SEC actually went out and beat teams out of conference this year, unlike everyone but UO in the Pac.oregonblitzkrieg said:

Don't need to play a conference championship when you win the Pac-12 outright.oregonblitzkrieg said:
