On ESPN Classick at 10 a.m. MST/PDT

I'm on vacation this week so I'll probably watch most of it. It's something for some of you to watch in the basement between comic book movies and World of Warcraft. ;)

    The fact that UW hired Gilbertson after playing that game speaks volumes about the first decade of this century.

    Damon Huard leads the Huskies to 14 points in the last two minutes for a come from behind win. Sark had never been involved in a game like that before Saturday night

    UW has a storied history of comeback wins over Cal including the 2000 season. One under James was something like 25 points in the second half.

    I remember that game. UW kicked a bunch of FGs in that game. Leading up to the game, a Cal linebacker (I think his last name was Ortega) had talked about how he was sick of losing to UW and how he hated the siren. I think that was in the shitty 1988 season.

    From 99-01, I think all three were a struggle and somehow UW pulled out the win. Cal pretty much blew it each game. In 99, Tui only completed 10 passes, but had over 300 yards. 2000 was a comeback win in Husky Stadium after playing shitty for 3 quarters. I don't remember the game in 2001, but we won 31-28. Cal finished 1-10 and Tedford was hired after the season.
