Well genius, our current QB situation , parden my french, is fucked.

Weve got an army all-american who throws like a 7th grade girl
Weve got a combine speciman with a great arm, wheels, and smarts with little or no passing accumen or feel. apparently Troy Williams and KJ arent good enough, says Pete to unseat, the first two guys.

To compete with the big boys, UW needs more Shaqs, Sankey's, and Sheltons. Since those guys and Mpete, a probable first rounder, are gone next year who do they get replaced with?. 4 star OKG's, I count Budda as an above avergage OKG, are great mixed with a smattering of elite All Confrence / All American mention difference makers.

How many of those guys are on this roster now? especially on the offensive side of the ball? If your answer is John Ross, remember somebody needs to get him the ball and he is maybe 5'10 if he doesnt cut his hair.

I think it was Damone who said Washington and Coleman are 2/3 string material. Coleman is a poor mans Logan White but I sure as heck dont see no Reggie Bush on this squad unless Hoss or Yale can prove me wrong.

Oh, and there's a reason Jake Browning just signed aid agreement. Coach knows he's the only hope. Same with Eason.

Doogs love 17 year old QBs.
    17? How about this commit?
Are you Martell's dad or something? What is your fucking fascination with him? He's a 5'9, 15 year old QB. He might not grow enough to even play D1 football.
Martell has game, he's playing D1 even if he doesn't grow. #TBS #NoHomo

I know that, I was just trying to get a reaction out of that fucktard since he's been pimping Martell as the second coming in several threads.
None of this has shit to do with Tate Martell. He's a fucking sophomore in high school.

If you want to brb, jo on a high school savior for 2015, may I poont you to Jake Browning.

Also, gtfo of here with that Yale or Hoss shit. Holy fuck you're on the wrong bored.

    Spooge?

Accidentally refer to Major Applewhite as Marshall Applewhite in a conversation (as I did) and then pop off.

Eh, Manziel is a generational athlete. Not sure I'd compare anyone to him.

    like Marriota?

Mariota isn't leading that A&M team to those wins. Not sure how he would respond to playing from 2-3 scores down almost every game.

I love Manziel, but Mariota is also really good. I think Mariota also could have went 9-4 last year at A&M. Johnny was a very good player, but Mariota and Winston are as good of college QB's as he was.

    This

Manziel lost 4 games a year. He's a system QB like Oregon QBs (hi obk!), Look at Sumlin and he always has a big time numbers QB. Has another one this year

Don't believe the hype. Manziel was very good but without Mike Evans I'm not sure he wins half those games. Mariota's never had a guy he can just heave some crap up for and know he's coming down with it like Evans did for Manziel. If I knew he'd stay healthy I'd take Mariota over Manziel if I had to win one game.

    I would not. Abundance.

Also, take a peak at the OL Manziel played behind... Some really good players in front of him.

The media would like us to believe it was Johnny putting the team on his back, but the rest of the offense was loaded. Great OL, great WR's, and Sumlin always has a terrific system for a QB. Case Keenum broke records in it at Houston. Kenny Hill would get an invite to New York right now too.

You are correct about all those things. The one thing I would add though is that Sumlins' QB systems do not account for the 1400 rushing yards in his Heisman season. You could definitely say that those are a byproduct of the strain it puts on the defense and a great O-line, but I would say the O-line would be more responsible for the passing numbers and allowing him great time to find guys like Evans. Many of those rushing yards were scrambles that turned into 50-60 yard TD's on sheer athletic ability.

I am an unabashed Manziel homer and I won't try to pretend otherwise. I'm pretty sure you guys can tell that by now, but I can say with full honestly I've never seen anybody want to shove it up the other team's ass more than Manziel, ever.

Three first rounders on offense and Sumlin still lost four games last year.
