Indiana - First Basketball School Natty
I still like you. Iron sharpens iron

Agreed. I hate programs not their yearly iteration. If Ohio State slumps for a few years I don't start viewing them as a plucky underdog

Oddly, I've never considered Miami a "Blue Blood". Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, USC, Alabama, all blue bloods with long rich winning histories. Miami was really bad when I was a kid and for a long time prior. They never had that pedigree, in fact Miami almost canceled their football program before Howard Schnellenberger got em cranked up in the early 80's. Loved watching the 1984 Orange Bowl, Bernie Kosar slinging sidearm against Tom Osborne's juggernaut. Stunning victory for the Canes. Got me hooked on them.

Ole Miss - Lane Kiffin walks away from his best shot at Natty
IIRC the '87 game was almost the reverse score in favor of Miami
Kerwin (Dumb)Bell didn't produce much offense for the Gaytors.

I normally loathe everything about the SEC and always will, but Old Miss is a nobody team and Americans love underdogs. Plus Lame Kitten will be mad. Plus their mascot is a cooler version of Colonel Sanders. The woke fags probably made them retire him though.

Their toughest game is this one. Can’t see them losing to your Canes or Ole Miss. Canes could possibly play them close in a low scoring game. Ole Miss will get boat raced if they upset the Canes.

Miamuh - The U and Creep are back, ese
Although I will be clearly pulling for the other team, I can find nothing in this poast with which to disagree. Ole Miss winning it all would be cool for many reasons, Lane among them. Also, I happen to like the Mannings.

They've snuck into the conversation, at least on some measures. That's another thread, though. Certainly don't have the long history that those programs have.
