I kinda figured the Kalen to Alabama thing would never really work out. Never thought the wheels would come off due to a prison raping at the hands of Indiana. He’s lost Sheridan, Shephard, going to have to fire his DC who he hired in place of the guys he’d had forever, might have to tell Grubb (who seems to have lost his fastball) to take a hike. It’ll take a miracle for him to still be alabamas coach week 1 of 2027.

DeFlaccid is in over his head. He caught lightning in a bottle full of BPE at UW. Not likely that happens again. It wouldn't be shocking if it turned out that all he accomplishes in Tuscaloosa is lowering expectations enough to make it easier for his replacement to survive longer than he will.

Poor Boner didnt realize the mess Saban had left for him. If it were the old playoff system he’d have 7-8 losses and no SEC titles and no playoffs in two years. Sad. What a gutted roster the GOAT left him. Oh wait, no, that was Fish who got the 40 man, gutted roster. DeBoer had the most talented roster in CFB for his first two years in Tuscaloosa. A roster that was just a handful of yards away from beating Michigan and playing for a natty the year before he got there. You can’t expect to win with that, you just can’t.
