Just watched The Tender Bar

I was a little bit wary going in because it seemed like it might be full caricatures instead of great characters. As we know, I measure everything against My Mister and The Sopranos, and I'm a stickler for realism. But this movie was really well done. Good storyline. The writing and directing were excellent and not overwrought. Definitely worthy of watching. Ben Affleck actually did a great job with his character when I assumed he would be a weak link.

Ben Affleck has gotten a lot of shit and deservedly so for being a pompous douche at times but he’s had some really good films.
