Mohamed and RVB in the portal

He did?

Hard for me to believe or take seriously the idea of leaving because of carries in one game but then when you think about it he might be thinking, "fuck, I'm the only one doing anything on offense and even then he pulls me out for his favorite one-legged running back. this isn't going to get better."
So, yeah, maybe it was the Oregon game the sealed it for him. WTF knows.
-
Are you joking when you say this? Because they all have contracts.
-
Yes, you would. And that would be VERY, COUNTER PRODUCTIVE by pissing off the backs that you want to keep.
-
Sure
Except it didn't keep him

The lack of carries is an easy sell I would assume Jedd made. It’s saving wear and tear on him for the next level.
The late season surge was enough for me to not like this. Muhammad looked very good late in the year. I’ll be curious who we get to replace him. I’m upset now but there is always the possibility we won’t be by the time the roster is finalized.

The RB room as it stands now:
Jordan Washington (RS-Soph)
Quaid Carr (RS-Frosh)
McMahon (RS-Frosh)
Bonner (Frosh)
Sanoe (Frosh)
Washington and Carr are the speed backs, Bonner is the balanced guy, and McMahon and Sanoe are the power backs.
Some good options but I'd feel much better about Mohammed coming back to be the #1 with Washington as the #2, and Carr, McMahon, and Bonner fighting for the #3 job.

I was upset when Puka transferred out in much the same way
-
Washington is a 8 carries a game guy with his frame. So probably works better in the pass happy offense
-
The speed is noticeable, but he has done nothing against anyone of note. He didn’t have the easiest path to playing time with the RB’s in front of him, but his limited playing time isn’t a very good indicator of future stardom.
