Big Log is a great sonic experience. If you listen on vinyl with a decent amp that can deliver honest bass and have speakers that deliver the punchy bass and crisp mid-range it is one of my favorite listening experiences. Beats the 70's/80's Eagles and Fleetwood Mac mixes for me, which I think are some the best engineered/mixed albums out there.

Also a fantastic nighttime driving song

Big Log is a great song for any time

I'm quite surprised to not see Tuff Enough by the Fabulous T-Birds on Stalin's list.
Or something off Tattoo You.

Tuff Enuff is maybe top 100. But you are certainly correct about Tattoo You. I didn't consider it as I was pondering my current top 5. There are 2-3 songs on there that could crack top 10 if reconsidered.

Burning Down One Side is an amazing song.

I'm really not trying to crap on Big Log, but this is just such a disconnect from Plant's kick ass Zeppelin years that I can't accept that he made this song. If it was some rando artist I'd have a totally different reaction.
Artists evolve, things change all the time in recruiting, blah blah blah.
Sometimes you are what you are, and deviating just does not work. Like Van Halen with Haggar.
Tuff Enough is also a good song.

Throbber didn’t like Big Log at all when it came out. Just rewatched the first part of the video. Still don’t like it. Snoozer tune
Doesn’t mean it shouldn’t hit for others. Just does zip for me. -
Then you must really dig Sea of Love
