They’re retarded for not hiring Wilcox. Unless he turned them down because he has better options. Like Oregon DC after Tosh gets tarmac’d tomorrow night.

I think a good DC job probably pays as much or more than the head job at Oregon State. Sheppard has never even been a coordinator so he made the right move for his career.
Great WR coach. I doubt he does well as a head coach.

This seems like another retarded thing our fans are doing where the mentality is, "You just KNOW Shep's gonna be great there because you know KNOW he was always destined to be a head coach!"
Yeah, and why is that? He was a raw raw recruiter guy with someone else's players.

The raw raw stuff is why I think he won’t be a very good head coach. He’s never called plays.
There is no harm in him getting a couple of million to be the head guy, getting fired after a few years, and going back to being a WR coach in college or the NFL.

It's a great situation for him. He was at Reser in 2023.
No idea what happened with Vigen, or maybe I do when you consider that Oregon State's AD is as clueless as Jarmond and Dannen.
