Another childhood legend gone. Falling asleep with my transistor radio next to my pillow, listening to Bob Blackburn, and the Sonics winning it all, the night before I graduated from high school…I ran into him once at the QFC in Clyde Hill, late at night, coming home from somewhere. I was in line, and he came up behind me. I glanced back, did a double take, he stuck out his hand and said “Hi, I’m Lenny”. I don’t remember if I even replied, and shook his hand. When I got to the car, my wife said, “You look like you’ve seen a ghost”, and I said, “Yes, from my childhood”…RIP
