If you've never been, next time you head to the coast side of Oregon make a stop at de Garde Brewery in Tillamook. Top shelf stuff there.

Yeah, my coast resume isn't as good as it should be.
We do have some good local options in the space with Monkless and Ale Apothecary does great sours.

T’s and P’s to Pyramid. My oldest brother used to deliver to Pyramid and know the head chef well enough that my brother would always have a large section of their beers at his house. I moved back to Washington in 2007 and was going through a divorce so I moved in with him. Pyramid’s winter beer was called Snow Cap, something 7-8% ABV.
I had 2 22oz bottles while watching a movie and when I stood up, quickly realized how drunk I was. Good tims.

@YellowSnow Monkless is so damn good that they sell it in stores up here. That was one of my top-3 breweries when I was in Bend.

I once drank 7 free pints on a brewery tour there like 25 years ago. They had a tour guide who didn't give a fuck and kept pouring us all the beer we could drink.
Top 4 day in my life.

We need to do a pole of Seattle former breweries that we miss the most.
I was a big Hales guy back in the day. They had a creamy fucking stout on draft that I used to love.
-
People forget Hales started in Colville then moved to Spokane
People forget that.

Did Hales go out of business completely or are they just not in Seattle anymore?
