Saturday when I said there’s no chance Franklin gets fired during the season, to be fair I hadn’t seen they were in a pedo fight at home vs Northwestern.
That being said, didn’t fall for Smith’s couch sale at the halfway point in year two. I can definitely see him on the hot seat next year with a losing record. -
amirite that the guys it seemed like Deboer went to the mat for at Qb were Chiles, Kienholz and Austin Mack? I do think he made a late unsuccessful run at Sam Leavitt.

Fleen and Mike Martin are two of the best old guys who can’t do the internet guys online. Also, Kim told the story recently of Fleen having a fake heart attack and getting taken away by an ambulance on the field after the 2002 Apple Cup

Kienholz will get his chance next year at another school. Mack might be good too. They lost out to guys that are going to be Heisman level players. Almost all Ohio State and Alabama starting QB’s are but still.

They also scored Damericus Davis who left UW after seeing Williams, flamed out at UCLA and is now third string at Hawai’i.

Bingo on Demarcus Davis. I knew there was a guy I was forgetting. I'm not ready to completely write off guys like Kienholz and Mack and will even LIPO more with Chiles but I am always skeptical of the QB whisperer talk with QBs.
