The Exhibition Season is Over

Now the long march begins. What I have seen tells me that some of you may get that chance to rake me over hot coals and draw and quarter me as the Fighting Fishes make the playoffs. Or I'll be right and the tuff B1G teams run all over the scrappy Dawg D. Either way it is still interesting at this point
To be fair outscoring the other guy is now Husky Football. All I cared about under DeBoer was the W and that's all I care about under Fisch. I sensed the panic in the Force watching yet another back up QB have the round of his life until the lightening hit him with another Husky Pick 6
However for the first time I am buying Demond stock. He's not over rated or over hyped. I see what the big deal is. We'll see how that plays against the B1G bully Buckeyes. Coleman and Muhammed. Boston has me hooked on a feeling. The offense is legit.
Spinning the dial after the birthday party I watched Nebraska not be back for the 27th consecutive year as the Michigan squad ran over the Huskers. If you can't stop the run you will lose to Michigan
At the same time My Sooners were winning a thriller over Auburn 17-16
At night I saw what was the most impressive performance of the day as Coach Cigarette led Indiana to a 63-10 wipeout of Illinois. You can say Illinois sucks because they do but they are better than WSU. I told you Cig can coach. All he does is win
Miama whipped Florida paving the way for Fisch to go there if he beats the Buckeyes
USC crushed Michigan State. Reilly has his offense in there now. Cal alas was too fucking high as they got boat raced by SDSU
Big Time Game Week
UW 27 tOSU 24
Oregon 34 PSU 13

I think I can name like 6 guys on our our roster now. Things are trending up.
-
Podcast of champions suggested Cal could win the ACC last week. I snorted when I saw the score
-
imagine thinking Justin Wilcox could win anything of note ever
-
future mountain west champs lost at home to UTSA
-
yeah cal twitter and all their beat writers spent all week talking about their easy draw schedule and how likely the playoffs were. Team was probably doing the same.
-
I think it is more likely that Cignetti is coaching Florida than Fisch
-
Cal pulled the 2024 Coug.
-
if bama does actually move on from kdb, cig is the no brainer hire. Lowest buyout, easy school to poach from, saban disciple, immediate winner
-
Believe it or not, I have a hunch Cigarette wouldn't want to leave Indiana at this stage of his life.
-
his daughter is on the softball team?
-
I would think Cig maybe wouldn't leave for a Washington or Florida but seems to competitive to not want to go to Alabama, and unlike DeBoer, he doesn't need an NFL QB to excel.
-
I like Colorado State over WSU by the way
-
I wasn’t all that impressed by USC. I don’t think Michigan State is any good, and they let them back in the game before finally pulling away. I don’t think they get to double digit wins even with a bowl win. Riley sucks until he doesn’t.
-
USC under Riley is just off. Every time watching them last night once I was onboard they immediately let Michigan State right back in the game. I wouldn't completely write them off yet though.
-
very undisciplined. Committed a ton of stupid penalties that let msu hang around.
-
I’m not writing them off, but I could easily see them losing 3 of their next 4. Illinois on the road, Michigan at home, at Notre Dame, at Nebraska. If Illinois has any heart, they’ll bounce back next week. I think SC beats Michigan at home, then loses the next 2. They go 2-2 in this stretch at best. Cook it.
-
They lost at home to road runner university. I think coug turns around there season with Eckhaus
-
The script says Washington beats USC in LA to cement Riley and Cohen both getting fired.
-
Boston giving you “peace of mind” would have been better, but you get a pass.
-
Beating tOSU as #1 is big, hopefully Florida will pay attention because I would love that swap!

The problem with Fish leaving for any job is that Demond would be gone too. Our future success all hinges on Demond. Head coaches have even more leverage now with the current portal rules. "You don't want to meet my contract demands? Cool. I'll leave for another job and decimate your roster and recruiting in the process."

The exhibition season is indeed over
-
Team complaining that we spend way more money than them. Never thought I'd see the day.
-
Marlins can never win a world series.
Oh wait
Rogers starting the bitch excuses early in his tenure. Try competing with North Texas loser
-
Demond is the real deal. I think he probably has a clunker or two this year because the OL won’t hold up, but he’s an amazing talent. He’s got to prove it, but he’s Penix level. I haven’t watched any QB’s that I would say with certainty that I would rather have.
I don’t know how an AP voter could watch UW’s offense and not have them in their top 25. We didn’t even receive any votes.
-
Penix is the best passer I've seen in college.
Tap the breaks.
-
He is. He also goes long stretches without doing much.
-
Demond and Penix are also just completely different beats in different offenses with different personal and Demond needs to improve as a passer. On the opening drive Demond has Boston for the easiest of easy TDs down the middle and threw a terrible pass. Boston was frustrated on the sideline after.
