The NL is tough this year, the next 3 games will be telling… winning vs LA over the next 3 will give them the home field advantage if the opponent is the Dodgers and on the road vs the Phillies is doable if the mariners continue to hit. Of course, they have to get there for any of that to matter.
At this moment, the Phil’s are the betting favorite at +430 ~ Mariners are the second betting favorite at +500, unbelievable, I thought i would never live to see it.

M"s being humbled at home by an actual championship team the final 3 game of the season before the playoffs does not feel good.

I didn't want this last series to even be played. It hasnt gone exactly how I expected, but pretty close.

yes, didn't go well, I know these guys were tired and spent the energy to get the 2 seed but this was not a good sign. They have a few days to rest which they clearly need but they need to buck up to go further. Fortunately the east coast guys do battle with each other to begin and the Mariners get a big break about who they face in the next round ~ past that they are going to need to prove they can score runs and beat contenders when it matters ~ can they do that? The odds haven't budged upward and betters are still saying yes surprisingly.

My Moogs are telling me that the M's were tinkering with lineups and not using all their best players, etc.

I suspect the Dodgers series letdown had more to do with the drinking and partying two nights in a row after clinching the playoffs and division. Nothing more to play for so they let up.
Hoping the rest was good for the rotation so they can come in hot. Concerned that Woo may not be able to go in the first series. -
I really am not excited that they have to face the likely Cy Young winner twice in this series.
