I was told by HH that Q3 is when shit would hit the fan after all the inventory which was pulled forward ahead of tariffs was what was on the shelves.

The whole it needs to play out over time in inventory argument isn’t a great one. If consumers would pay higher prices then why would they wait for the higher cost inventory to be on the shelf? They would do it right away.
Gas stations don’t charge based on what they paid for the fuel, they charge based on what the replenishment price is. Grocery stores do the same. Only way to manage cash flows in a coherent manner.
