SEC adopting 9-game conference schedule

So they can't play some Big Ten or ACC team in Dallas or Atlanta, then Troy State, Georgia Southern, and the Charleston Beauty School?
-
Allegedly, correct.
Sankey asserts SEC teams still will be required to play 1 P4 nonconference in addition to 9 SEC games.
So, only 2 FCS opponents going forward.
-
But the Citadel needs those November paychecks.
-
9 games is idiotic. Do 10 and eliminate FCS games.
-
This is my stance completely. 1 OOC P4 team, 1 G6 team 10 conference games.
-
Yeah with the bloated conferences should especially play more conference games than ever. We're already seeing it where teams only have to win 1-2 games on their schedule against teams with pulses to make the playoffs.
I'd love to see a thing where Big 10/SEC teams have to play each other once every year and maybe one against ACC/Big 12. Draw the matchups out of a lottery 2-3 years before like the NBA lottery and televise it during the halftime of conference championship games.

Would be sweet if they made the auto bids contingent on this. Ex. For a 12 team playoff, Whoever wins the big ten/sec challenge gets 4, loser gets 3. Do a big 12/acc one, too that does the same. Winner gets 2, loser gets 1.
-
Add a Pac-12 vs Mtn West series. Loser gets zero, winner gets zero with sprinkles.
-
The sprinkles contain potassium benzoate.
