Fisch was never going to UCLA or Florida…he was silent because he was hoping for a $1MM/year raise. Realized that wasn’t happening after that shiteshow of a game.

Don't understand how we've got to a point where these coaches have big money guaranteed and also are able to hold the schools for more of they do their job reasonably well.
Had the Deboer debacle 2 years ago and immediately Fisch now is angling for more after being 7-8 in conference play

People start talking about extensions and raises as soon as a coach even shows signs that he could succeed. The hypothetical scenarios where UW was actually good this year had already led to talks of hypothetical raises…in year 1.5 of a long contract and without asignature win or even a good record.
Calling it retarded would be insulting to retards.
