I think in my head Minnesota is freakishly cold. Smells like bait and chaw. And most of the people I've known from there are quirky-cool. Add to that it's an old-school midwestern state - think Sinclair Lewis and beaver trappers. So I can't hate them really. Just figure football season starts when it's 100 degrees plus and ends down around 10. And I loved canoeing the boundary waters as a kid.
Utah on the other hand - religiously insane and natural beauty - the place that bogged down the Donner party so the Sierras could finish the job. Also hard to find liquor when you need it. Also my wife has a crush on their football coach.

UW lost at Minnesota in the 77 Rose Bowl year. Won the rematch at home

Race was there!

An entitled B1G program that you replace them with Beavlet and don't notice a difference.
You watch their coach and you watch them play and it's all super try hard like Utah where people are fluffing them for no reason and their coach is just that same flavor of dipshit as Whitt.

I like Minnesota cause they feel like college football and Fleck is part of that. Not that interested in Ohio State and Alabama running tighter ships than the Steelers. Same reason the entire PAC12 was great

In my mind Minnesota is one of the teams squirting eggs and whining that Washington's schedule can't be easier than theirs. So like Iowa and Michigan State and others I will always want them relegated the fuck out of here.
I also hate team that don't have any skill players worth watching besides a random tight end and cement shoes back.
Their coach also dresses like a fucking re.tard. Annoyingly so.

Minnesota has sucked for a long time and they shouldn't. At least Utah puts dudes in the nfl and beats legit programs. Minnesota was decent with Glenn mason and would always wet the bed in the 4th quarter vs tosu and Michigan. Had a decent year with fleck and fell off. Apparently Somalians are not good football prospects.
Minnesota to your point can be replaced and nobody notices. Never win games of any consequence. -
They probably have fans like ours that show up to their biggest games wearing Twins hats and Vikings jerseys or Anthony Edwards shit.
My kids love "The Golden Gopha's" so they have some brand appeal and should have probably moved on from row-the-cock awhile ago.

Great insight as to likability… college football in the 70's vibe. Which teams would make the Feels-Like-College-Football list? Seems like it would be a lot of the B-listers.
Colgate has to be in the list. You're watching a game and the day's scores are crawling the bottom of the screen…. where the hell is Colgate? All these northeast schools that apparently play ball.

Off top I guess I just think of teams that have great energy for their home games. Places like Stanford, Duke or even Michigan are a bit sterile? Gimme an Oklahoma State or Wisconsin
