True story:
When I was first diagnosed at Fred Hutch, I asked one of their "top" doctors about the efficacy of Turkey Tail mushrooms.
"Well I guess you could try it."
All I could think was, "aren't you the research hospital, motherfucker?"
The oncologist I ended up with said, "you better take (turkey tail)"
