How Will The Big 10 Go in 2025
I always like to look ahead at that conference actually game by game as the offseason natty wraps up instead of like power rankings because schedule can dictate so much - trying to chop up the games here's how the final standings could go:
- Ohio State 8-1 (11-1) - feels like the least scary team they've had going into a season in a very long time and their QBs are questionable. Still, I'm not ballsy enough to predict them to lose anything more than one road loss in-conference.
- Penn State 8-1 (11-1) - The table is set for Penn State to run the table or at least win the conference. I say they lose at Ohio State but win in a rematch in Indy.
- Oregon 7-2 (10-2) - Feels like the least scary team they've had in the Lanning era. Still, the only team which looks better than them on their schedule is Penn State so they drop that and a game like at Iowa.
- Nebraska 6-3 (9-3) - Their schedule sets them up to be like this year's Indiana until they fall apart late.
- USC 6-3 (8-4) - strength of schedule merchant - should get Linkin Park fired.
- Iowa 6-3 (9-3) - a slightly better QB could make them a contender this year.
- Washington 6-3 (9-3) - my gut says UW goes 5-4/8-4, but my heart says they should have went 8-4 last year and will find a way to improve. To me the key will be winning one of at Michigan/Wisconsin.
- Michigan 6-3 (8-4) - I have no faith in Moore but plenty of winnable games on their schedule and they still have tuff Harbaugh talent.
- Wisconsin 5-4 (7-5) - Did Fickell forget Wisconsin only rises when Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State are fucking around?
- Illinois 5-4 (8-4) - A totally unremarkable 8 wins
- Indiana 4-5 (7-5) - Probably the middle point of the conference - they'll beat crappy teams and average teams in Bloomington and lose to everyone else
- Minnesota 3-6 (5-7) - I know nothing about this program.
- UCLA 3-6 (5-7) - I could see this team sneaking into a bowl or going 1-8 in-conference
- Michigan State 2-7 (5-7) - I think they're better than this but they have a tough schedule and it could depend on how good Chiles is
- Rutgers 2-7 (5-7) - lose to this team and die Judd
- Northwestern 2-7 (5-7)
- Maryland 2-7 (5-7) - lose to this team and die Judd
- Purdue 1-8 (4-8)

Big year coming for Jonah
I'm excited to see a Demond and Jonah rushing attack. I'm not excited to watch much else in the conference.
He’s working harder than ever. But seriously, if our OL improves to mediocre, he’s going to be fucking unstoppable. He’s going to look like an Ohio State RB out there, Groz. Thinking about some option plays with him and Demond makes my sweatpants tight. Typing the word option made me think of the Apple Cup ending. Sweatpants are now loose.
