He had an amazing throw from right field to gun down Brian Downing (if I remember right) in the 1979 All-Star game in Seattle's Kingdome.

Was just going to posts this. Died a month before he was to be inducted into the HOF, which is a travesty. It’s bullshit he wasn’t inducted years ago.

One of my early favorite players. I treasured his cards and used to get in fights with my brother about who was better between him and Dwight Evans.
The WS against the Orioles might actually be the first one I can remember. I don't remember much but I remember where I was for game 7 and how my dad and his friends reacted.
