So maybe I am missing something but why did Trump pull out of the JCPOA deal with Iran that Obama got through?

By all accounts Iran had ceased enrichment. And Iran should not have nukes. But kinda dumb that we had to bomb Iran for starting to make nukes after it was us who pulled out of the deal where Iran said they wouldn’t make nukes.

Yesterday I traded messages with a friend who used to pilot the refueling tanker and participated in a few missions in Serbia in 99. Told me the logistics for planning this type of operation are beyond top notch.

Most likely two tankers per bomber, pre positioned for refueling and probably happened 6-7 times.

The fact that Iran didn’t get a shot off, shows where they are with technology, even with help from China.

Iran is threatening to activate sleeper cells which is really their only retaliation tactic. Good thing the border wasn’t open the last four years to let a bunch of unvented military age men into the country.

Covid is a different topic and not relevant to the consideration of whether Iran was following the JCPOA. Plus I would hope that our spying capabilities would tell us what they were actually doing.

Comparing post-JCPOA withdrawal behavior of Iran enrichment to pre-withdrawal doesn't make sense. Sure they're enriching now. I'm questioning how we got here, after a major incentive to not enrich was removed.

The WSJ once upon a time was an relatively conservative publication except they were the whip for the Chambers of Commerce on open borders to lower labor costs. Once the Murdochs got their hands on it, it was all over. If you are a bright young conservative with writing skills you will be severely underpaid for your skills at really any legacy media.
