PGA Championship Game Thread
Who you got? The PGA is usually a birdie fest, and it’s at a course Rory has won at numerous times. The career grand slam gorilla is off his back, his trust issues are gone, and he’s ready to just let it rip. I wouldn’t be shocked to see him win 34-17.

That’s hilarious. I have heard that it’s not a particularly popular course with some of the players.

Jon Rahm siting. Not liking his chances.

Spieth has two wins since his Open Championship in 2017 which was his only win after he laid the sod over his penalty shot at Augusta on 12. Amazing how the next big thing becomes what could have been in golf
Rahm 2 under early. Is he the LIV guy this time? I still like Bryson
Some criticism of Quail Hollow - it does have a great back nine finish but is ordinary otherwise. The PGA cares more about owning the course which is why they love Vallaha and will be at Frisco twice in the next 5 years
They have struggled forever with an identity. US Open light or new courses and 25 under wins
JT, Rory and Scottie on form but I have a feeling a regular tour dude like Straka will win. But not Straka. First time major winners love the PGA

May was mistake, especially when you throw out all the future NE sites in the years to come. If they hit on Friscoe it could save the event. Guessing they won’t since it’s the same body that brought us Valhalla and QH. Kiawuh has a slot upcoming, that is their best venue from a difficulty and an interesting course perspective. There’s also a lot of great Florida courses that no one has ever heard of, mix a little of that in.

Agree. It belongs in August.
They should play it at the Stadium Course at Sawgrass in May. Call it a player's championship or something
-
Play it at the Resort in CDA.
Engine revving for all.

I went to the one at Sahalle. VJ won. Disappointing

This Rory/Scottie/Xander group isn’t looking too hot so far. Bunch of nobodies on the leaderboard so far.
