Trump understands America's power. Another reason he beat the
There's nothing we can do don't change anything crowd
The bleating over tariffs is typical of those who want America to fail

Good to see it’s not just the tariffs that are being included in the rates. Currencies naturally adjusting for trade imbalances is the natural offset to trade deficits. That’s isn’t happening.
Trump went light on many of these, he pissed out. -
But our “soft power”!!!!
Yeah so fucking soft it might as well have not existed.
America as the only world superpower should have quality of life better than every other country in every single category. What the political class has done to us is a joke.
Every other country should kiss the ring.
All “unfair” trade practices should be heavily weighted towards us until someone else can compete.

They are also correctly designating VAT as a quasi tariff. Lots of Twitter talk about how VAT is basically just a sales tax. Laughing my ass off on that one.

Twitter is highly entertaining
Never Trumpers and democrats peddling doom and gloom.

I know the people in Washington DC, and the people on Twitter will be really upset by it, but I’m not sure the American people will ever understand why foreigners can charge higher tariffs on us than we charge on them. If you tell an American that Trump is simply matching the tariffs they impose upon us, most Americans are gonna be happy about it.
And what significant is absolutely no one in this whole frenzied debate has made a case about why foreign country should have higher tariffs on us than we have on them. I have not seen one person make that argument. I’d like to know what the argument is, if there is one other than America should just suck it up and take it.

Need @aog to comment on this this. Is this inflationary or deflationary for American consumers?
