Is Fisch about to haul in a bunch of top-ranked recruits?

Well it's just assumed for the guys like Coleman-Brusa that it's going to be a battle to end for every school involved. For UW it's going to come down to the committed brother convincing him to not be lame and leave the state.
Yes ideally it shouldn't be a struggle for anyone in-state but I think the staff is playing catch-up on rubbing the local hs coaches pussies just right.
Do the top 5-10 TBS schools get these kinds of guys committing on their Junior Days regularly? I have no idea.

They seem to think that Jedd will eventually close Smiegel.
-
Name is too Jewish not to close

I mean you’d need legitimate sources and they don’t have any when it comes to predicting a commit. They’re just “fisching” for content. I’ve never listened to them anyhow. I mean when your gullible enough to work for people and not get paid….

They do the leg work and streamline it to someone like me that doesn't want to put in the time. So there's real value there.
They're putting their own opinion as fans (moreso Roman) as to whether they think something is likely to happen and don't proclaim themselves as experts that are above debate in any way, such as the 247 guys.
So I don't really get the problem. It's all free anyways.

These first visits are for junior day, right? I think the official visits that truly matter are in June, July. That’s when 85% of this class will be wrapped up. These junior day visits are like a cursory meet and greet. Unless it’s a QB I’d be shocked if they get any real traction from the spring game or junior day recruiting trips.

UW is non-competitive for most of these good guys until they get their full B1G share, IMO. Wiscy seems to already be making their recruit commits sign at least 2 year contracts to keep them from transferring. This might become a standard in the B1G. Demond keeps UW at 7-5 for the next 3 years…

It seems from the Caple Montlake Futures interview that the difference between UW and a full share school is going to be Olympic sports. They will get squeezed out of the rev share in favor of the football team and will at least partially rely on MF to keep them competitive.
The full share schools blow a ton of their money on facilities and teams we don't have funded like hockey.
-
I listened to that Caple thing too, but UW is getting half of what these other teams are getting until 2030. They won't be at full firepower for 5 more years, no matter what they try to say about it. The best they can do is try to keep their heads above water for a while.
At least UW remodeled the stadium when it was still cheap to do. That remodel would probably be in the $ billions now. Northwestern must be spending a ton on their new stadium. That would be interesting if the B1G kicks Northwestern out eventually for sucking. -
I'm saying that the other B1G schools have to spend a lot more for their other sports, so it should balance out somewhat. It was brought up as a major concern among Ohio State fans comparing their number of sports to say an SEC school that doesn't have to pay for hockey.
Then there's the fact that they're still choosing to spend a shit ton on facilities, as you mentioned. Penn State and Northwestern.
