It's a perfect comparison and, like everything, I predicted the replies because you all are literally too fucking stupid to do even the slightest bit of research when it comes to anyone challenging Daddy's monarchy.
Elon wants more than Zelenskyy, in fact, he wants everything from Trump - less regulations on his businesses (especially Tesla given their mountains of recalls), more military government contracts for them, less whistleblower oversight, less consumer protections (see: gutting the CFPB), space superiority with SpaceX (see: gutting the ISS), the list goes on. In exchange for supporting Trump's agenda with his cash, Elon gets to rid the federal government of anyone who can check his quest for more power, money and influence. He also got Trump to speak about the South African government. I guarantee you Trump does not give one flying fuck about South Africa. But since Elon's still bitter the apartheid era he grew up in is gone, he's leveraging Daddy in a quid pro quo to get his revenge.
He effectively wants the world, to control communications and context, and to influence foreign policy and international regulation on all of his financial endeavors. But he definitely doesn't need to wear a suit. We'll just ignore that. At least he has you guys to suck his dick fervently and ask for seconds.

You can check the thread. I'm pro-ukraine but reality is here. Ukraine isn't getting their territory back unless the US goes after Russia i.e. WW3. The EU has talked big and done squat to rearm or actually get on a war footing. They aren't actually willing to make real sacrifice but WE? should?
I had hoped like Kherson and Kharkiv Ukrainian forces would be able to utilize western arms for maneuver warfare to recapture large parts of captured territory but they didn't and they can't.
The reality is that Biden slow walked military aid and lines have solidified. Ukraine is likely fucked one way or the other at this point.
The silver lining is that Russia is knocking on the door of a second breakup similar to the USSR after this has depleted them on many levels. Maybe in 10 years those areas rejoin Ukraine maybe they don't. Russia won't have the ability to do anything other than hold together their existence after a ceasefire at this point. I wouldn't worry about a 3rd wave invasion now(I would have past tense).
