Now, every comedian making a joke about Republicans "is attacking them." Look at the comments section of any online source of any modern comic making fun of a Republican. You have way too many Republicans freaking out and getting defensive and threatening to forever boycott that comedian.

Trump has divided and conquered this country. Most Republicans have become extreme, tense, paranoid, hypervigilant and defensive to any critique.
If you can't make fun of yourself, and constantly have a defensive reaction to your stances, there's something wrong and ultimately, little place for moderation.

There are no Conservative comediennes. They aren't allowed in Hollywood or on television. We have seen actors and comediennes ostracized and cancelled as a result of their political and religious beliefs. Literally fired for being a Conservative or a Republican. So you will have to excuse any Republican who doesn't find liberal comedy to be fucking funny.
