HH and DucksFC conveniently ignore the fact that an astroturf movement of social contagion has spawned an entire industry around “gender affirming care” to the tune of 5B current and a pre-election growth metric at 11% CAGR over the next decade in the sex reassignment surgical procedure space alone.
When you add in all of the ancillary hormone therapies and associated mental health you’re talking about an over all market cap of 20B right now, where this was a blip on the radar just 10 years ago. Let’s stop pretending this is wholly about providing care to those in need.
This was a made market, manufactured much in the same way Green Energy was and as we’ve seen in black and white, when the government has the money faucet turned wide open, the “independent” press is there to dutifully message out to the masses. Hospital systems weee raking in federal money to perform these surgeries and USAID was the center of the pinwheel in promotion and initial funding.
This isn’t conspiracy theory shit, guys. It’s how our government has been doing business at home and abroad for more than 30 years.
