I don’t like a lot of the stupid shit in the stadium and when they moved the students but when you apparently have to compete with people offering $850k to Idaho WRs you have to maximize money. And all the stupid shit is to try and get the non lunatic fridge types who aren’t living and dying on every play like me and you to come and stay. I’m shocked they can get kids who can get into UW in the 2020s to come to games. What are they paying them?
You could be making that up but the thought of it makes me upset. Its odd having head coaches be the most important part of a team and yet they could not care at all about the program and it's history and leave at a moments notice
The alcohol situation seems very Karen like. It was a rip off, Nancy, who looked almost like a Rotary Club Volunteer, opened my Twisted Teas for me (I can do it myself), then they wouldn't let me leave the stadium with the can. At pro games, even AAA games, you just buy a beer and there isn't all this nanny hassle bullshit.
When I saw Boise Beauty School last year, there's no way more than 42,000 people were there. I guess Hamilton was in town. It was Labor Day Weekend so some people are out of town and no students, but still.
I think UW really was America’s team last year, with their nail-biters every week and their big dong gunslinger. It was America’s team vs. the cheaters. That’s great television.
The gameday intro. songs have repped Seattle pretty well with a couple recent coaches (DeBoer used Alice in Chains, can't remember the exact track right now, and Petersen used "Purple Haze"). I have no idea what Fisch and Lake used for the intro. cuz I haven't attended any of those games. Sark was Eminem.
But the Journey track is cringe and has to go. There's plenty of classic Seattle tracks they could throw out there that would be way better.
I think the important thing with the 4th quarter song is you want it to have longevity. The ones you know about in CFB are fine and probably were just ok when they introduced them but as they became part of the culture and everyone knows to sing or jump around for it then it is a mini event in its own.

Its special when the away Michigan team sings "from South Detroit" in your stadium because UW has zero creativity to find a Seattle song

I forgot about the Journey shit. Absolutely retarded
Mix-a-Lot “Posse on Broadway” all day.
I have commented on this, but my understanding is that Fisch has a good amount of input on the game day atmosphere and prefers the band play less.

If true, fuel to my fire of hate.
Howz about we offer $300,000 to Pacific Lutheran to come to Husky Stadium and we take the $500,000 saved and buy a decent left tackle

It just means more
It is interesting any theories on why Michigan and Washington was so popular?

That happened? JFC.

Find a local song that can be around for decades
Seattle and Detroit markets
Walking out to Man In The Box needs to stay. That shit was awesome
For sure. If they wanted a slightly different but similar Seattle band song…they could do “Rusty Cage” by Soundgarden.
