I don't recall DeBoer coaching here last year. I do recall Fisch convincing Rogers back out of the portal
And I definitely recall Rogers sucking like the loser he was when a far better alternative existed. You could tell in early games that the squad responded better to Williams.
O line is going to suck again this year. If only we could get guys that didn't suck somehow

OK. You don't like Rogers playing, but what is the practical benefit of playing Demond this year? UW lost 6 regular season games.
Let's assume Demond doesn't get hurt from being reckless when scrambling and that every game Rogers won Demond also wins. What other games does UW win with Demond? Rutgers and Wazzu? That doesn't get UW to the playoff; is there some other significant benefit that warrants the downside risk of playing him too early?
