I'd like to put him among my favorite players who make it fun to be a fan of college football because it matters to them beyond selfish reasons. If he was on a better team and had a healthy shoulder it could have had even more magic but nonetheless I think he's in the same realm as guys like Gaskin, Gaines and Buddha in the heart column
If his shoulder was healthy and if he had any legitimate DTs in front of him I think you can squint and see it. I wouldn't say UW has had an abundance of elite players at that spot
Bruener will always be a great Husky. Injuries and mediocre DLs hurt his legacy though.
Made some incredible plays, but whenever I think of him it’s cleaning up six yards downfield tackling a ball carrier that easily got through the line of scrimmage. Then, having to take off a series because his shoulder flared up, and watching the opponent drive down the field and score while he’s on the sideline.

I actually read this one. DAWG
Great Player. Solid roots.
BHL DNA.
Thanks Taft!

One of the best UW lbs of the modern era
Hope he sticks to a roster in the NFL
He was very solid but not one of the best in the modern era.

But very rare that doogs and HHB originals can agree on a player’s overall quality, you must admit.

He was better last year coming off the bench and was the best overall LB
