When did it become OK to receive punts inside the 10? Is it an analytics thing? It seems especially retarded to call fair catches there. But it’s a thing now.

i thought the rule most coaches had was pit your heels on the 7 and fair catch from there forward.

Could be. Just seems like whether it’s the 10 or the 7, returners are catching a lot more punts than they used to
