Imagine being from the PNW and not being a communist and hating with the heat of a thousand suns one of the most successful, innovative and ground-breaking companies to organically grow out of our soil because of your favorite college football team. Yeah, that's super clear thinking. I mean, Boeing, Microsoft, UPS … I like that they're here and were born here. And from what little inside baseball I get, they've always treated UW very well in their dealings.

If you don't think Nike's campaign played a part in his becoming the gargantuan institution he and his brand became you need to touch some grass my man. There had never been anything like it in terms of a literal global shift in market awareness in sport. Compare and contrast Kobe Bryant and Reebok. What was that tag line? Oh yeah, nobody ever knew it.

He had another bad day at the Senior Bowl workout, at which he got trucked by some Marshal player who ran his ass over. He'll be good in the NFL I'm sure, but maybe Oregon O line coaching needs an upgrade. Pad level, my boy. Pad level. Mario preaching. It's about the only thing that motherfucker seems to understand. Pad level.

Btw, I want to come back to my favorite of all of my rants. How in the fuck does a guy like that - the Marshall guy, now projected to go in the first round - get by all these brilliant P4 coaches? Why is he at Marshall? Did he always want to play for Marshall? Doubtful.
