What people who brag about UW’s great pass defense seem to forget is that teams didn’t have to pass to move the ball.

Steve did a good job but I understand why Bala is the choice and there’s no reason why he can’t be an improvement.
We lost the battle of attrition on D, specifically after J. Parker went down. Not enough quality bodies (heh heh) on the D-line, especially after that. With Pepa, et. al., we should have enough “bodies in the room” to withstand the pounding.
