"The only reason people look back fondly on the Charlie Brown Christmas cartoons is because of the awesome soundtrack. The actual cartoon was ass." - Adam Carolla
He had another gem a week or two ago when he said don’t raise your kid to be a college football fan. Half are done in week one and at some point midseason 90% are miserable… paraphrased i might add
@YellowSnow record player pics incoming. This is what we call a super-budget entry level all in one device from some chinese company called Angels Horn. I hadn't listened to vinyl since I was in high school in the early 2000's and had no idea. My 14 year old daughter requested this device for her birthday and it's been super fun to start getting into quality music with her over the past several months.
I didn't want to spend big money and floor space on a hobby if I didn't know that we'd enjoy having a record player, so this little all-in-one made sense for us. We've thoroughly enjoyed it, and my daughter and I have spent several hours in the local record shop together looking through used albums. So, I'll probably begin to invest in something on the higher end at some point in the next few years. In the meantime, this little guy is performing quite well!
Thank you. Planning on it. Gotta convince my wife of the necessity of this first. She's like, "but doesn't this box already make noise? why do we need a bigger more expensive one??!?"

Best Christmas album of all time. Currently spinning on the record player.
I've had this on 3-hour loop in the car for a couple weeks. I can't overstate the benefits to the decreased level of stress it beget.
.
Pics of record player are needed @houseofpain247
People forget Vince was a Bay Area guy on the same record label - Fantasy - as Creedence.

Did Saul Zaentz take Vince to the cleaners too?
Not sure.
The Audio Technica cart is a good entry level option. The tone arm - while made of Chineseum - looks OK enough that it won't damage your records.
Normally, I think $500 to $600 is the starting point on a TT to make vinyl worthwhile, but this seems like a decent option.
Note how they copy the appearance of the classic Rega RB 330 tonearm on my deck.
You can slide into my DMs when you need upgrade advice.

I will not tolerate the Linus slander.
