These Shoes - Eagles
Sheesh. You can't hold my jock strap on the music of the late 70s and early 80s Green Lake Bruthas, pod-nuh.

F.O. Row Peter Puffer, You Left Off...
Dude. I went to a black high school and balled out. Boom box Parliament, Ohio Players and Confunktion accompanied every practice.

These Shoes - Eagles
My HS had one black kid out of 550 students. But still, my collection of jazz, blues, soul, funk is impressive.
-
Highway to Hell - AC/DC
'Walk All Over You' is the best guitar work on the H2H album.
H2H still earns my vote and is rightly beating the pants off the competition here.

Highway to Hell - AC/DC
Clearly a DEI record. TITTT

These Shoes - Eagles
@BleachedAnusDawg I expect VH to carry the day in 2 or 3 of these but the AC DC riff juggernaut is usually going to carry the day on college football message board of mostly 40 to 70 year old white males.

Beautiful Girls - Van Halen
VH2 is more party energy versus anthemic rock style stuff. "Beautiful Girls" is kind of a lame EVH riff track, but after re-listening this AM it is probably the most recognizable from a commercial standpoint.
VH2 might actually have the fewest huge commercial hit songs of all the DLR-era albums. I have not done that research, just spitballing here. ATBS, I love most of the VH2 album and play songs like "Outta Love Again" and "Somebody Get Me a Doctor" more often than tracks like "Unchained" or "Panama." I like AVH's drumming on VH2 more than any other of their albums (on the whole, not individual tracks).
"Dance the Night Away" sucks ass, though.

These Shoes - Eagles
Boo! Dance the Night Away is top tier VH.
Although, D.O.A. is my most favorite track on VH2.
-
Beautiful Girls - Van Halen
Look, big dog, in the BAD book of Van Halen, Dance the Night Away is almost as bad as Jump. Too much pop.

I'm Bad I'm Nationwide - ZZ Top
Those are their best songs
