In Oregon’s defense, I’m sure they didn’t think Okie St would be this shitty when they scheduled the game 5-6 years ago. And yes, they definitely got lucky with the conference schedule next year.
I typically don’t hold teams accountable for shitty P4 non con opponents. When you schedule an FCS, and 2 G5 schools in your OOC outside of say Boise St, I’ll call it out. -

And I will add, I will never discount an SEC or B1G school that has an easy conference schedule in a specific year. You have zero control over your conference schedule from year to year and at least those conferences are clearly the top two. I can’t say the same thing for Big 12 or ACC schools, simply because their conferences in general are pretty damn shitty. But the top heavy nature of the B1G is slightly concerning.
