I think this is an example of looking for something to be outraged over (which is usually the domain of left-wingers).
I also do not think this was any kind of political statement and I would hesitate to equate donating to the Palestinian Children's Relief Fund money for medical and food aid for kids as the same thing as supporting terrorism.

It's easy to be cynical, and I understand why. I am probably one of the least sympathetic people here when it comes to the plight of the Palestinians.
If people want to connect his cleats for a charity to support for terrorism that's their allegation to prove, I suppose. Sounds pretty ridiculous to me, and I doubt that football player is intelligent enough to connect more than two dots in a row.
