Overall apathy from even fanatics about Husky Football has been noticeable on all social and media platforms as Derek has reference this year, even last night vs. the Ducks. I am guilty of it myself, but don't have have real reason why. Hopefully it's as simple as being in Houston playing for a NC 11 months ago after going thru a once every 50 year ride for your team if your lucky to looking at schedule this year, and seeing your closer to a expansion team than one that's rebuilding.

God Bless Coleman for coming back, and I am assuming the financial terms pencil out for him vs. going Pro, but there will be 4 games next year where it's going to look like a very similar version to last night where he's going to be running into a brick wall (twin O teams, Michigan and Wiscy). Couple that with the 2 scrimmages, and half his games he will carry the ball between 10-15 times per game.

Said it in my preseason predication. I trusted our DL more than our OL this year which tells you how bad they both were. 2025 it's the reverse.

Transfer portal should be used as place to find depth and plug holes to round out team.

UW needs 1/2 wr's 2-4 OL, 2/3 dl, 2 lb and 1 safety to be starter level upper half B10 guys. Unless we have a Larry Ellison, Phil Knight, Ohio State Collective whale waiting in wings that is unreasonable to believe it can happen.

Fisch has 12-24 games to stop looking physically uncompetitive on the OL and DL against the middle of the B10 let alone the Big 3 of which we saw two this year and the 3rd one next year at Husky Stadium. What next year's POD post Oregon has to be about is yea we lost to a better team, but across the front lines, there has to be proof, hope, belief that there's something there to build with, and right now that's a big stretch for me to see.
