After today I’m taking a few months off news, politics, and the Tug — cold-turkey. I'm focused on my health, full stop, having restarted chemo on Election Day 💯 🤢🤮

A year ago September, my life changed forever as I was diagnosed Stage IV Esophageal Feces. (Details via PM)

Worry not, I’ll still allocate some time for my Dwags on the main bored, and the Shoppe’s #MAHA thread

My last controversial takes for 2024 …

I think in the long run, in the Arch of American history, winning in 2024 was better for the America First agenda. Had he been allowed to win in 2020, he would have been up against opposing (blue) chambers of Congress who would have tried (and maybe succeeded) at another impeachment; let alone blocking his other agenda items every step of the way.

Today, with the popular vote and electoral college landslide, he wields a mandate to slam the door shut on the Bush, Clinton, Obama dynasties. On top of that, he now has a very capable team of X-(wo)Men working with him to enact real lasting change. Many of who came from across the aisle. A true consortium.

It is very possible we will see two retirements from SCOTUS and the opportunity to keep the court 'conservative' for a generation.

Largely it will still be Trump's agenda. If you haven't seen the clip of Trump explaining how he is going to keep oil, black gold, away from "Bobby" it's hilarious. Like a stand up routine.

All that said, he has a monumental set of tasks in front of him. First, ending (the precariously close) WW3, both Putin and Hamas have indicated a want to end hostilities in the wake of Trump's election. I hope #MyTulsi ends up Secretary of State, but unsure where she lands.

With the rise of BRICS we are also precariously close to losing the value of the dollar. And $36 +/- Trillion in debt. In my opinion, he will need to reshape the us economy away from globalism, to pull us out of insolvency, and strengthen the working and middle class that delivered for him at the polls. From his past business experiences, I can't think of a more qualified person to take on that set of negotiations.

If Trump, Elon and Ron Paul can shrink government size and spending by 20% or more, it is a major move toward being unburdened by what has been. The fact Elon cut Twitter by 80% and made it better company (ideologies notwithstanding), makes it worth any risk, in my opinion. I did see a clip of Elon suggesting a two-year severance for dismissed government employees to give them a long runway into private sector, if not the ability to double-dip. It’s debatable, but as presented I’m ok with the trade off.

Lastly, it looks like Bobby (HHS Sec) and Rep. Thomas Massie (USDA) are setting up to completely remake the institutions around Big Pharma and Big Ag. There will be a massive overhaul of FDA CDC NIH USAID and overall food production and farming to put a decisive end to corporate, monolithic capture of all these institutions. (Side note, did you know China owns 80% of US Pork production??)

Podcasts, not the nightly news, are the new medium from which to view political leaders. All of those who wish to hold office, in my view, must and will have to subject themselves to long-form podcasts as the public now will demand to see a full picture of any candidate. It is impossible to hide who you are for 3 strait hours.

And lastly, we must get to the bottom of what actually happened behind Covid and the 2020 election. People must be held accountable.

Looking at these two charts, I have such a hard time believing there was NO fuckery going on.
