Jedd Fisch's plan is clear, it just hasn't been executed yet

Firing him now is absolutely not an option.
It's okay to be skeptical though. -
We should always be skeptical of a coach until they are a proven winner.
There were a lot of points in 2022 and 23 where I was skeptical of DeBoer.
-
Points could be made that DeBoer wasn’t a great game day coach either. He was a master of his teams coming out with their hair on fire in BIG GAMES. 2023 Oregon 1, Oregon 2 and Texas all had the potential for blowouts but in all three games UW was reeled back in. Georgia this year, reeled back in. He was also the master of letting teams that have zero right being on the field with his teams hang around. In 2022 (ASU) and this year (Vandy) he allowed them to beat his superior team. DeBoer got away with it because he was so Midwest charming and accountable with the media. Fish is east coast greasy and it’s just more unsavory. As has been said, Fish has built a winning team from scratch, DeBoer has never built a team. He bolts after 3 years more often than not. I’m in camp LIPTFO.

DeBoer built a team here
-
Not really. He hit on the most moral and just and GOAT transfer portal QB of all time and plugged a few other holes. He wasn't here long enough to build something.
-
DeBoer built a culture and an attitude. 90% of the team was here.
-
Remember, DeBoer wanted Heaner first. When that academically fell through he circled back on Penix.

4 and 8 to 14 and 0
Come on man. No really. I'm not kidding
If it's so easy then why hasn't Fisch done it
Typical UW attitude.

What DeBoer did here was phenomenal. The best start than any Husky HC has ever had.
Rick had a great start as well with Lambo's guys, but couldn't sustain it.
No one is saying it's easy to achieve what DeBoer did, but he didn't "build" it. He took what was here, hit on a couple portal guys and was an great X's and O's guy.

DeBoer is a great coach but it can also be true that he stepped into a great situation. The 2019 and 2020 recruiting classes were very good and had were RS-JRs and RS-Sophs who had taken their lumps in 2021 so they already had loads of experience. He brought in a QB he had had success with before and voila, he goes on a monster two year run. Sure he may have gotten the lucky bounce here and there but you don't go 25-3 without being a darn good coach.
