I live in Lewiston. I request you vote tosupport LD833.By removing religious exemptions with the passage of LD798, the Maine Legislature mandatedthe use of pharmaceutical products containing aborted fetal cell lines in exchange for aneducation. We were told that since major religious institutions support the use of vaccinesderived from aborted fetal lines that we, too, should be okay with this practice. We were told thatthese cell lines came from long ago and that it was best to use them to support public healthmeasures. We were told that the use of these products was for the “greater good” and that only acouple of babies were used to make these pharmaceutical products (e.g. WI-38 human diploidlung fibroblasts, MRC-5 human diploid cells). This is simply false.Multiple abortions are performed for one cell line to be produced. Dr. Stanley Plotkin, the‘Godfather of Vaccines,’ gave a deposition in 2018. He was handed Plaintiff’s Exhibit 41, astudy from the Wistar Institute, where 76 fetuses, all three months and older when aborted, hadbeen used “…to determine whether or not they could be used to make vaccines.” Plotkinexplained that these tissues were harvested from organs such as the lungs, skin, kidney, spleen,and heart. When asked if the tongue was used, Plotkin laughed and stated, “I don’t recall, butprobably; yes.”In a January 2021 interview with Life Site, Pamela Acker, a vaccine researcher and expert,explained that in order for a viable cell line to be produced, the tissue must be harvested withinfive minutes of the abortion or else it is “useless.” Subsequently, she explained that “…this hadto have been a baby that was aborted and they knew that the tissue was going to be used forresearch…” ruling out the possibility of a spontaneous miscarriage or abortion. Furthermore,Acker stated that “…they will actually deliver these babies via cesarean section, the babies are insome cases still alive when the researchers start extracting the tissue. To the point where theirheart is still beating, and they’re generally not given any anesthetic because that would disruptthe cells that the researchers are trying to extract. So, they’re removing this tissue while thebaby’s alive, and in extreme amounts of pain, and so this makes it even more sadistic.”
