Immigration is fine. Uncontrolled, unplanned and uncoordinated immigration causes exactly what you describe, anywhere it happens.
In Seattle, they'll bitch and whine and call it "displacement" and "gentrification." They won't say those words on the Eastside, because that would be racist.

We are not. It’s as simple as that. But there is a community effect, whether you want to acknowledge it or not, and it shows up in the churches and schools.
Look at it this way. You probably grew up like I did with a lively neighborhood where kids all rode their bikes everywhere and most of the people in the neighborhood knew each other well and interacted socially at BBQs or little league games. That shit was the norm in the 80s and 90s. That’s what summer was.
Whatever it is now ain’t that.

Oh we’re aware. A bunch of people in CH have been talking about private security patrol for awhile now. Folks in YP are already going that route at least that’s what I’d heard.
That property isn’t next door to Chinook/CH Elementary, but it isn’t exactly a day’s walk either. People are pissed.
