where were these fucks from?

The majority of those were very obvious calls. Just a terribly undisciplined badly coached team.

One thing that was infuriating was that our DLine was clearly coached to just hold up with their man and "wait" for Mateer to scramble.
As a result there were no fucking holding calls against WSU even with their small OL.
I do think that calling a PI and everything else they called while Mateer is just scrambling/struggling like a gazelle getting caught by hyenas was bullshit. The play is over, he's sacked. Who gives a fuck about anything else going on unless it's done after the play shit.

Generally agree but still horrible. intentional grounding was not obvious, debating the pick overturn for 5 minutes was not obvious, the encroachment on 3rd and 16 before the final drive wtf
-
the intentional grounding was clear as day. The “pick” obviously hit the ground and aided the “catch.”

Wefs weren't good and the face masks I almost frequently just feel like bad luck. Always have horrible flashbacks to Vita getting that huge sack against Stanford in 2017 but getting a completely accidental face mask. The Wefs did blow not giving UW a late hit really early. I don't know if it's coaching or instinct but the defense needed to find ways to sell holding more. It's really fucking hard to have scrambles like the ones Mateer does and not get 2-3 holding calls usually but I'll give the wefs the credit for not calling them on UW's OL.
The int I thought just should have been whatever was called on the field it was so close.

but still. Where were these fucks from? Big Sky?

I agree with this, but struggle to see how there was indisputable evidence that the call needed to be reversed. The ball isn’t moving on the replay. Seems like one of those plays where whatever was called on the field should have stood simply because you can’t prove otherwise.
-
The ball wasn't moving because it was directly between his hand and the ground. His other hand was not involved. It CLEARLY was a trap against the ground. Only annoying thing about it was that it took longer than 20 seconds to see that.
I only saw two really bad calls: I thought Mateer got away with grounding once, and Esteen baffling got away with a clear hit out of bounds on a kick return. Oh, and the crackback block that injured one of the Huskies was called but could have been called targeting for head to head.
If you don't want to cost your team 15, don't grab a facemask. It's that simple. None of those facemasks even helped in making the play, either, which makes it doubly sad.

the refs should not be a topic of discussion.
Superior talent.
out coached.
undisciplined.Fucking losers.

It didn’t matter. If UW doesn’t break the rules, the refs keep their laundry in their pants
