    Break eggs to make an omelet. Real numbers will come with investment in the US from foreign countries via the new trade deals from tariffs, as well as US firms onshoring jobs. This is a wholesale restructure of the economy and I look forward to the transformation.

    Tariffs:

    • Leverage for trade negotiations
    • Create a domestic supply chain to avoid catastrophes like the shit that happened during COVID, let alone how fucked we are if China invades Taiwan tomorrow.
    • Enhance national security

    Somehow these are all bad things in the eyes of the left.
