Can't wait for the speech calling out big food players like Walmart for price gouging. Their gross margins are unchanged materially speaking from before the pandemic through peak inflation to current day, which means they are passing onto consumers what they paid for inventory. Their earnings are up because of increased volumes that has allowed them to absorb their fixed overhead more efficiently. Their volumes are up because of people not being able to afford eating out and trading down to groceries and other small business destruction created by Covid regulations and minimum wage increases, which did not harm Walmart.
Also fuck Walmart for lobbying for all of this too.

Walmart has a 2.4% profit margin (Gross revenue/Net Income). Quite the price gouging. Leftards don't do basic economics. Why do retailers advertise their prices?
