DeBoer on KJR basically says UW low-balled him

To be fair I hate PJ Fleck too.
Fisch is a CEO. Other two guys were just complete dipshits.

I want my college football coaches to be grumpy old alcoholics not these row the boat bullshit fucks. Looks like Deshaun Foster saw how awkward Jonathan Smith was and said hey hold my beer. I'll take Fisch, who is that guy you've partied or golfed with or whatever who you don't realize is Jewish for a very long time and who doesn't appear to be trying to dress up what he is.

Fleck was absolutely trying to dance around the fact that going into his 8th year there, he hasn't done much and his row the boat shit 1) has nothing to do with the University of Minnesota and 2) doesn't translate into more wins at the power 2 level.

Smith was hilarious in that here's Jack Velling going on and on about how he grew up idolizing all the UW tight ends under Petersen. It's like, did we really need to take this transfer TE from Nevada? Seems like we could've easily snagged the 2nd team all P12 tight end that is still probably needed after losing Cuevas.
And then nobody even wanted to talk about Michigan State, just beavlet stuff.

I assumed there was a decent chance they would bring in Velling in the portal but I assume he's either loyal to Smith because he offered him when UW didn't or UW for whatever reason wasn't that interested.
I thought someone on here had speculated they had a good shot at getting Ioane and Nabou to come home but then nothing. Deboer and Huff should have been able to get Ioane to recommit and not move across the whole country to play for James Franklin. Sucks to see he's already getting projected as an All-Big 10 guy.

Note...I have not. It's just what I'm hearing.

when you’re working 80-90 hour weeks, I don’t think you notice the weather.
