Uh, no. I don't use DEI as a crutch for an argument or just an ad hominem attack. DEI is real and the whole point is to hire and promote incompetents that can't compete for the job. Calling me a NAZI for accurately describing an incompetent Didn't Earn It hire is a Godwin's Law convention related to Godwin's Law. Your describing Trump as a fascist without any ability to describe what makes him a fascist is Ern lining up as a prime example of Godwin's law.

It's not quite the same. It's Westlinn's Law. The longer a conversation goes, the closer Westlinn will get to blaming DEI for something. It's like a black hole.

And the further away Ern gets from any sort of factual conversation on the issue. The Secret Service couldn't secure a sloped building let alone find a .223 caliber bullet traveling 3000 fps that may have disintegrated when finally hitting a solid surface.

No, there's obviously been a clusterfuck of errors from multiple parties and agencies. What those errors are, and if it's something deep and institutional, are unknown right now. I believe in a chaotic universe, and a bad actor got lucky and took advantage of a lowered guard not expecting anything after hundreds of rallies where nothing happened. Heads will roll, for sure, but I don't believe anything nefarious was afoot beyond the shooter himself. I could be wrong. I don't like making theories with incomplete info, but you asked, so there ya go!

What do you think of the repeated denials for additional resources being rejected? Budgets just too tight?
