Solar Co. Collapses, Customers Furious
Can’t even survive without massive government subsidies. Capitalism!
The glow of solar power is dimming for customers of yet another solar energy company that is fading into the night of promises it could not keep.
Titan Solar told employees on June 13 that it was “closing its doors” because no one would buy the company, according to Time.
Titan said that it put solar panels on more than 100,000 homes. The fate of consumers who have panels on their homes and no one to maintain them is uncertain.

Friend of mine left regular construction to go get in on the green money Gravy train here in California by being a solar project manager.
He quit when he realized the company (a major installer) was installing substandard and/or dangerous Chinese batteries likely to burn homes down. All in an attempt to save costs since the market is rapidly hitting saturation where new builds are rare.
Combine that with insurers refusing to insure fire on properties in California. Should do wonders in summers moving forward.

Putting heat conductors on top of homes in areas that increasingly get wildfires due to arson, population saturation, and poor forest management is a great idea if you’re a Leftist or a California Democrat.
