It's pretty clear what is going on, they can't hide the cheat enough without getting caught now so they are just going to turn this whole election into a giant shitshow and create enough chaos to discredit any result and hold onto power.
Remember them saying they would drag Trump out of the white house kicking and screaming?
Im afraid the "pry my cold dead hands" phrase is now their line in the sand mantra
